Default How do you ban a range of IP's via Cpanel?

Hello, how would I ban a range of IP addresses? such as

217.255.135.244 to 217.255.142.130 for example. Thanks

Well what I do is.. I just ban the first 6 numbers. Then it gets rid of all of it. 217.255. (just add that in CPanel.. and it should work) However you may ban other people too, so makesure that ISP owns those 6 digits.

How can I find out that the ISP owns those first 6 digits?

Hmm i did a search on that IP range. Are you trying to ban dip.t-dialin.net IP addresses?

Here is a list of all of them that have been found by a person.
    all of ##dip
    ALL: 217.0.0.0 - 217.255.255.255
    ALL: 217.0.92.146
    ALL: dip.t-dialin.net
    ALL: T-ONLINE.DE
    ALL: t-dialin.net
    ALL: viaginterkom.de
    ALL: 62.158.206.181
    ALL: 62.224.15.14
    ALL: 62.156.0.0 - 62.156.63.255
    ALL: 62.180.197.54
    ALL: 62.226.229.107
    ALL: f-54-197.cvx-dusseldorf.ipdial.viaginterkom.de
    ALL: p3EE2E56B.dip.t-dialin.net
    ALL: 62.225.192.0 - 62.227.255.255
    ALL: 209.164.192.0 - 209.164.223.255
    ALL: 210.0.0.0 - 211.255.255.255
    ALL: 217.1.32.220
    ALL: 217.4.0.154
    ALL: 217.0.0.0 - 217.5.127.255

So it seems that ISP own thats 6 digit IP range.. and if your trying to ban the entire ISP.. ban all the IP's above ..starting with the first IP and only it's first 6 or 5 digits. I'm not entirely sure about the first amount of digits, since this a lot of IP's if you want to ban the entire ISP.

Yes I am trying to ban all dip.t-dialin.net IP addresses, Thanks a lot, but may I ask how you found out this information on if the ISP owns that IP? I would like to learn how to do this for future problems So does that ISP also own all 62.156.0.0 - 62.156.63.255 ips?
So basically add all those IPs that you entered as banned correct? Sorry I am new and trying my best hehe.
