How to enable Blackberry FastMail Service Please

Hello community,

I am very keen to enable Blackberry FastMail Service on my cPanel dedi.

Towards the bottom of cPanel docs it describes it well ...

BlackBerry® FastMailService
BlackBerry FastMail is a service that is available to cPanel 11.25 systems (and later) that use the Dovecot mail server. This service allows you to receive passive email updates on your BlackBerry device. This means that when you receive a new message in your inbox, your BlackBerry device will receive it almost simultaneously.

When FastMail is enabled, Dovecot and the server's operating system are automatically configured to improve the performance of the IMAP IDLE command. The IMAP IDLE command is the method by which you receive passive email updates.

However, I can't for the life of me find anything anywhere on how to actually enable it.

Sorry if I am missing something obvious, but if anyone could help me I would be most greatful.

Hello

BlackBerry® Fastmail support is automatically enabled on cPanel systems that use the Dovecot mail server. If you have root access to the server, you can ensure Dovecot is selected via:

"WHM >> Service Configuration >> Mailserver Selection"

Assuming that Dovecot is used as your mail server, you can find a link that displays as "BlackBerry® FastMail Service Enabled" at the bottom of the email accounts page within cPanel:

"cPanel >> Mail >> Email Accounts"
