EasyApache uses GD 2.0.15. You can run EasyApache via the WHM interface by going to WHM -> Software -> Apache Update. First, click on Start Customizing Based on Profile and when you get to step 5, click the button to bring up the advanced configuration. Check the box for GD under PHP (if you are doing concurrent PHP, you may want to do this for both your PHP installs). Once done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button to begin the build process.
