Exclamation How to Install Server SSL on WHM/CPanel

I have ordered a free SSL certificate from Comodo, however they have sent the validation email to myemail @ mydomain.com. The question is how do I access the email account for the domain that is associated as the server hostname. WHM won't allow me to create an account for a domain name already associated as the hostname (t3kaos.co.uk). Any ideas?

    Hello

You should not use your domain name as the hostname of the server if you plan on creating an account for that domain name. Instead, the hostname should be something such as:

    server.domain.com

I suggest contacting the SSL provider and requesting they send the email to a valid email address.

    Thank you.

Would a the free Commodo SSL certificate work with my hostname. The cert has been successfully received for t3kaos.co.uk, however my hostname is oracle.t3kaos.co.uk. Would this work?

SSL certificates will only work for the domain the SSL was issued for unless the SSL certificate is either a wildcard SSL for all subdomains on a domain or a UCC certificate that will allow multiple domains on it. You'll need to speak to Comodo to have them either issue a new certificate or reissue the certificate.
