Lightbulb How to modify Cpanel default page when domain is pointing to server?

    Hi,

When a domain name is pointing to our server and the account is not setup yet, there's a default page that says :"

    Great Success !
Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server

If you can see this page, then the people who manage this server have installed cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) which use the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.
How can I modify that page ONLY for ROOT accounts and not my resellers ?

    Thanks

If you modify that then its for your whole server including resellers..

there is no possible way of doing this, how is the server to know who owns the domain if there is no configuration for it? (hence it showing 'There is no website configured at this address ')

There is actually and it is fairly easy to setup!

All you need to do is simply configure your resellers to use a different shared IP!

The first account listed under each IP in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf is the default page
shown whenever connections are made by IP or otherwise don't have a valid domain.

Normally all shared accounts on the server have the same IP and any default connections
would pull up the normal Cpanel default page which is the first account in your Apache config.

However, if your resellers each have their own different IP setup for shared accounts
(A reseller center config option) then the default page for those resellers would instead
be the first account listed under each of those respective IPs.

We have our own default page and our resellers each have their own default pages!

You can change it from /usr/local/cpanel/htdocs directory.
