How to move domain from reseller WHM to dedicated server??

Help please!

I need specific instructions to backup a domain that is currently on a server that I do NOT have root access to (but SSH is enabled) and install it on a dedicated server with root access with minimal downtime/data loss.

I have read the other posts and threads, but they all seem to give instructions on moving from one server with root access to another.

Also, I do not have access to the whm transfer tool on the reseller server that the domain needs to be moved from - only SSH access, but I do not know the correct SSH commands.

Try using:

Copy an account from another server will account password.

Enter the ip address of the server that the account is on.
Enter the domain name (domain.com ... no www or http://)
enter the username
enter the password

This should work fine if the account is not real huge. Doing it this way you don't need to have root access.
