Unhappy How to restore from server backup

I was hit by ThePlanet's debacle. I have offsite backups, but they are a straight backup of the server and not cPanel backups (I know, silly me!)

How should I proceed in order to restore these accounts into a new cPanel server? Moving the public_html directory is no big deal, but what about mail and mysql? Is there an easy way to restore everything?

Could you clarify exactly what you mean by "a straight backup of the server" - is it a copy of the entire hard drive, including all partitions? If so, you should have all the mail, databases, config etc data on there. If it's just a copy of everyone's home directories, though, there'll be a lot of stuff missing - databases, for example, are stored in /var/lib/mysql.

Entire hard drive minus backup partition. However, that particular backup has since been erased (long story).
