Default How to schedule what time backups and stats run?

We have a server that gets pounded most of the day, and we want to schedule what times backup and stats run at to minimize the load.

An example would be to have stats run at 7am, 6pm, and 11:30pm

and have backups run at 3am.

Any ideas how we can get this to happen?

Install the cronconfig addon module in WHM to easily modify when the backups run. You can modify how the stats run depending on which tree of cPanel you use . There's an addon for it in STABLE/RELEASE in the same place as cronconfig or in CURRENT/EDGE you can use WHM > Statistics Software Configuration

What do you mean... You will have the option for selecting the time on which the stats are to be run in WHM if you install the addon modules logschedule as suggested by Chirpy.
