How to stop spammer from using your email to send emails ?

I got a problem, some spammers using my email address to send spam, I know this because I got a lot of email returns.

Is there a way to stop him using my email address to spam others ?

Assuming that the perpetrator is not actually using your email account in any way and is in fact just using your email address in the "From" or "Reply-to" headers, then, in short, no.

hmm...come to think of it, we have not been having this problem for sometime already. Perhaps one of the email tweak we did that stop this kind of attack? double-bounce perhaps?
