how strong is a cpanel ssl cert

when you create a ssl certificate in WHM whats the level of encryption is it 128 bit?

Mine shows as AES-256 256bit for WHM SSL. This is one that was made at install.

i ment when you create ones in whm in ssl/crt and clik on generate certificate and set up the domain is the encryption 256 or 128bit?

It will be whatever encruption level you purchase from your CA. As eger said, the self-signed ones are 256bit.
