How to tweak Suhosin? A feature in PHP script not working.

I have a PHP auction script installed. The script is working fine except that I cannot update (update the conversion value of a currency) or delete currencies (delete a country's currency).

After getting the clue from the script developer, I recompiled Apache with Suhosin disabled. Then the problems were gone.

While I would like to keep Suhosin active, how do I configure php.ini so that it would not give me the above problems. Lower security is better than nothing.
