How to use clamav

Hi,
need help.. any one know how to use clamav?
after i scan /home

clamscan /home and found 1 infected file. but i have no idea where is the file and how to delete it

You can scan files and directories for viruses at the prompt. SSH to the server and run the command:
clamscan [options] filE_OR_directory/

But how is it done through WHM and/or cPanel? Is it not possible for my clients to scan their own websites?

If you use the new x3 theme of Cpanel you will find the option "Virus Scanner" on the "Advanced" section of CPanel. In there you have the option to Scan your home directory.
