Unhappy I had to Restart BIND after every reboot

    Hi everyone !

I'm facing this problem for quite sometime ..

    I'm running Cpanel 7.1.x on Redhat 8.0
Surprisingly .. I had to restart BIND in WHM after every
reboot of the server. .. BIND is starting automatically on REBOOT
but unless I'm restarting it again in WHM .. APACHE is not starting to resolve names.

Once I restart BIND everything works properly ..

Can any body suggest a good solution other than adding a 'restart BIND' option to rc.local

    Default

    /usr/sbin/ntsysv

Scroll down the list and make sure that named is checked off.

Of course it is. What did you expect it to be?

Having a bad day are we?

Doesn't seem like one of your typical post's as it doesn't really make any sense -- compared to your previous one.

Well you did just state the obvious.

    execute:
    /usr/sbin/ntsysv

Any particular reason why you dug this thread up after 24 days to post nonsense?
