I have Edit DNS with a wild card but can't creat subdomain ?

I would like to Thanks Aby For helping me to Edit the Wild Card ..

To Accept xxx.site.com / xxx1.site.com etc..

know after we edit it .. i notice that i can't creat SubDomin Via Cpanel .. it is just Retern me back to the Home Page.

any idea why this ?

If you want to create the subdomains via cpanel, and your account is on cpanel -- you don't need wildcard dns manually configured. CPanel automatically adds them. Unless I'm misinterpreting you...it seems as though you set your dns to wildcard for no reason whatsoever.

i have modify the dns wild card to accept anything

know everything is ok and it work ..


the only think if i go to Cpanel and i add subdomain name

something.site.com it dont work .. i dont no why .. do i need to edit anything ? or what

Isn't the whole point of creating a wildcard subdomain entry so that you don't have to make the individual entries for each subdomain later on?
