I ran /sbin/service bandmin start but it had no effect

Hello,

My broadcast traffic is still at 50% even though i ran /sbin/service bandmin start (before i ran it it was at 50% also) Is there another way to stop broadcast traffic? I only get 25gig a month and am at 5gig of broadcast traffic already

For those of who do not know, what is &Broadcast Traffic& and what does it do?

This is any traffic going through the server not directly associated with an IP. Email, etc. When you add IP's your suppose to restart bandmin so i recognizes the new IP's otherwise it will consider it broadcast traffic.
