    Default i386 or x86_64

I have centOS 3.5 installed (fresh install) running with cPanel as i386. Though I'm thinking about having it reinstalled with the x86_64 instead.

Question is, are there a lot of bugs running Centos 3.5 x86_64, or should I stick with i386. Also i searched the forums, and really didn't come up with an answer.

Stick to i386 in my opinion.

x86_64 isn't fully 64bit, you will find half the packages on a 64bit Linux install are actually 32bit.

It also is larger in size and uses more resources. cPanel doesn't release updates as frequently for Linux x86_64 either.

    Regards,
    Alan
