Default If Perl produces a 500 server error would phpsuexec as well?

We are getting 500 server error across the entire server. Nobody can run Perl on this server its so messed up, thanks to the perl587installer i posted about. Anyway, would this be a reason why we couldnt get phpsuexec to work either? Since it run as (CGI) i would image this was the reason why we couldnt get php to work. Anyone know for sure?

I am really desperate to get perl working again. Cpanel has not bothered to reply therefore im stuck all weekend with a working perl.

Could somebody give me some pointers on what i shoul do here?

    Thanks

That can be related on suexec, check if you have the right permissions on /usr/sbin/suexec , the correct would be

    -r-s--x--- 1 root apache 20393 Sep 25 2003 /usr/sbin/suexec*

Our box was running phpsuexec for a few days after we put it online and Perl 5.8.0. There was no problem with it. After we did the Perl update sudden php went down shortly after the perl installer issue and php returned a 500 server error. Thats why im asking. Why would php stop unless it was realated to CGI in some way, perl being all screwed up?
