This has probable been pasted and answered but I can't find it at the time. Sorry for a double post if it is.

Anyhow,

I had a host that put the convert file in the root directory of my web site.

I forget if it was /usr/bin or just /bin, but that is not that important.

I want to do this and when I tried to do so I was getting errors in the photo gallery saying that it could not find the convert file.

It works if I just use /usr/bin/

I think I had to use /home/username/usr/bin when he set it up for me. Or something like that.

Does anyone know how this is done? Why is this important I don't know I would just like to know how this is possible.

Do you even know why you want to do this?

What's wrong with using the default installed location for imagemagick?

I suppose you could compile imagemagick and put the binaries under the users home directory... but why would you want to do that? Sounds like you're just making a lot more work for yourself.
