IMAP issue - email marked as deleted but not deleted

I have issue with imap on many email on one server.

I delete email on my email client but on the mailbox email is only marked as deleted and not deleted

any help ?

Configure your email client to perform a purge of deleted email.

I have the problem on smartphone and PC with Microsoft Vista ..

On smartphone there isn't way to configure this

If you can't change the settings on your pda you may not be able to change this. As for your PC, there are settings for this in the email program.

uhm.. I have checked on 2 laptop with Microsoft windows mail (default client for Vista) but there is this setting :/

I have found this

"To automatically purge deleted messages from your IMAP e‑mail account, click the Tools menu, and then click Options. Click the Advanced tab, click Maintenance, and then click Purge Deleted Items when leaving IMAP folders"

but this already checked
