I am seeing this error in Squirrel Mail ... things all seem to work fine in Horde, and doing subscribe, unsubcscirbe makes no difference, plus i have run all the updates manually.

Remove Courier from Cpanel and go back?
I did restore backup but...I have courier still loaded.

My customers can´t check POP and IMAP indicates NO MAILS :S

in my case it turned out the mail preferences for the client under the .sqlmaildata were specifying the "Factoring" folder as the Trash folder. changing that to INBOX.Trash fixed the problem.

We're working on a tool to inject the neomail addressbook entries into the Horde (and most likely Squirrelmail) address book. I'll post back here with instructions once it's done (will later become available in the cPanel interface).

Any news on this, as none of the mailboxes have been recreated in horde or squirrel, so even the clients who used horde or squirrel mail only, have lost all their data.

I wanted to point out that the update went flawless for me. I would assume it has went flawless for most people.

One of my users said that his mail was missing and then he realized it was just in a different folder in his webmail. So nothing was missing at all.

If there is a problem you need to figure it out and fix it. Going back to something that is exploitable is not the cure. It is a bandaid.

outlook error 0x8004DF0B is caused by the default courier imap config (/usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd) setting the maximum number of connections per IP to 4. After the upgrade we had a customer issue where he was getting that error simply because he has 4 imap accounts setup in outlook. I changed:

MAXPERIP=4

to:
MAXPERIP=20

and restarted courier then all was right with the world.

Now that everything is working fine for me (after all the trouble and sleepless nights) I still have one problem, with my own IMAP account. It keeps showing "you have 19 new messages" on my thunderbird. Ok, I check the inbox, there is nothing but the notification disappears. Then this same notification comes back in few minutes. What is this about?
