Default Incorrect Stats in Disk Usage Viewer

I am running the latest STABLE version of cPanel 7.x on FreeBSD 4.7. For some reason the correct disk space usage isn't being displayed in the "Disk Usage Viewer" page. For example, I have an account that shows they are using "22.93" MBs of space under the main welcome page in cPanel and in the account list in WHM. Their stats on their email accounts disk space show they are only using 2 MBs of space. So the other 20.93 MBs are used up in the home directory. They have about 40 directories that all show 0.00 MBs, except 2 show 0.01 and another shows 0.02.

Does anybody know how to fix the stats that are not showing up correctly in cPanel under the "Disk Usage Viewer" page?

I opened a ticket about this with cPanel and was told that it was due to a bug and it would be fixed in a future release.
