Default Index Manager/Password Protection on Root Web Directory?

Does anybody know if it's possible to make the Index Manager and Password Protection features in cPanel so they will work with the root web directory on an account, instead of just subdirectories?

You could try putting this in your .htaccess file:

    Options All Indexes
    IndexOptions FancyIndexing
