Index.php not loading...

my index.php file is not loading automatically... if i type domain.com/index.php it loads but it won't load with domain.com by itself

Have you just set dns by any chance?

i just realized something... i renamed a copy of the index.php file to index.html when i was having problems with PHPSusexc not loading php files (i was getting a 500 internal server error). I ended up rebuilding apache with PHPSuexec turned off the error went away but pages wouldn't load. I looked over everything and spotted my mistake. Thats what happens when you work late hours, wasn't thinking clearly.
