I installed cpanel on Red Hat 7.2 and, according to the only documentation I've been able to find (http://web.cpanel.net/install.html)

After the install completes. You need to setup your Web Host Manager (WHM). You should proceed to http://&your ip here&:2086 or https://&your ip here&:2087

When I go to these URL's, it prompts for a username and password but I can't find anywhere that says what they're supposed to be. Does any body know what they are or where I could find more (or any) documentation about this thing?

It's &root& (username)
And the current password for the root user on your linux system.
