Installing Capistrano for Ruby on Rails

I am about to try and install Capistrano for Ruby on Rails. Has anyone done this before? Are there any issues that I should be wary of?

I have yet to find a way to get Capistrano working with cPanel's RoR implementation. There is an open bug report here:

http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=6135

Nothing has been done with it for a year.
