Installing Java

Hi guys,

I would like to install java so I can run Yahoo! UI Library: YUI Compressor ? (This is in the simplest java form and does not require anything special from cpanel just the java executor) This would be the only thing that java would execute on the server

Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

Thanks

serversignature is on a distinguished road
1. Go to java.com.
Download Java software for Linux from Sun Microsystems

2. Download the linux RPM installer for your cpu type.
3. sh /path/to/downloaded.rpm.bin
4. follow the instructions.
