    Default Internal Server Error on all sites - CPanel Update / CentOS 4.5 Related

    After the latest update, two of my servers, one running under a VPS, and another dedicated, the first running Apache 2.2 / PHP5 / suPHP and the second running Apache 2 / PHP4 / suPHP, both running under CentOS 4.5 started presenting me an "Internal Server Error" on all sites running PHP. Is doesn´t seems to be a problem with permissions, since all the websites gave this error, all were running fine, and I tried to chown all the files and directories to the user, chmod 644 for files, 755 for directories, remover php_flags from htaccess, but nothing worked. Even tried to compile different versions of Apache and PHP and it didn´t work. I had to remove suPHP in order to work.

    Is anybody experiencing the same issues? CentOS 5 installations were running just fine, but CentOS 4.5 were not.

    Same thing here. No fix yet that I know of.

    version libmysqlclient_15 not defined in file libmysqlclient.so.15 with link time reference

    Yep. Here too.

    Running CentOS 4.4, Apache 2.2 & PHP 5.24.

    I thought it was just me.

    Hi,

    I've just recently had a problem similar to this due to suPHP. My only suggestion is to check your httpd.conf file and ensure that the user that's meant to be running the script from a particular domain is added.

    For example, for domain foo.com username foo.

    <VirtualHost iport>
    ServerName foo.com.au
    ServerAlias www.foo.com.au
    .
    .
    .
    <IfModule mod_suphp.c>
    suPHP_UserGroup foo foo
    </IfModule>
    .
    .
    .
    </VirtualHost>

    My problem however was limited to the server's htdocs location, as running as nobody caused some problems with suPHP. Everyone else's VirtualHost entry was done correctly.

    Do you have something similar?

    On our server, nothing had changed. It just stopped working.

    Or I should say that we changed nothing.

    It was working (with suPHP) and then it wasn't.

    CentOS Release 4.5 (Final)
    - Apache Apache/2.2.6
    - PHP 4.4.6
    - PHP 5.2.3
    - MySQL 5.0.45
    & suphp to top it all off (on both 4&5)

    So I wouldn't expect it to be an error with CentOS.
