Internal Server Error Could not fetch uid or gid for : root

Hi all members,
I'm use cpanel. http://serverip/cpanel access "root" user and password but an error ;

Internal Server Error Could not fetch uid or gid for : root

I can ssh console :
grep root /etc/passwd
root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash
operator:x:11:0:operator:/root:/sbin/nologin

How can I fix problem.

Use http://serverip/whm as root user has access to administrator WHM interface and not cPanel. cPanel is only for non-root users.

You can only create resellers and manage hosting from WHM. cPanel is end user panel to manage a single account.

Click on "Create a New Account" in WHM under Account Functions. Then you should be able to login to cPanel as that user.

You can escalate cPanel users to Reseller users via the Reseller Center screen in WHM.
