Exclamation Invalid Command u'\xe2\x80\x93force' - Backup External.. Important

    Hello everyone,

I'm having a dedicated server, and I use offsite backups, to be secure - It takes backup every sunday, using the cpanel backup feature in WHM, and sends it to Amazon S3.

Last sunday it did work as it should, but this sunday I got this error:

    ERROR: Invalid command: u'\xe2\x80\x93force'

I'm using s3cmd to do the backup to Amazon S3, and it haven't been updated since last sunday, and I don't know if cpanel, or anything else have, that deleted that command.

Anyone that knows how to solve this? It's pretty important for me to get my data backed up.

    Best regards,
    Lucas Rolff

Could you try manually running the backup via root SSH to see the results?

    Code:
    /scripts/cpbackup --force
You should be able to check the cpbackup logs at /usr/local/cpanel/cpbackup/ location for the latest log (do an "ls -lah" to sort them and the last log will be the one that was the most recent).
