Default IP address shows in address bar, not the domain name question

Quick question folks, we're running our own server with cpanel/WHM for our small business. This is a new install (centos 5) and we can not access cpanel from another computer, from the network or internet. The public_html folder works, but cant access ports 2082 or 2086. Cpanel and WHM only work on the server and not clients. 2nd when we type in the domain name it goes to the index pages, but shows the ip address in the url box rather than the domain name ie http://forums.55.22.33.2/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=4
    where it should be ie
    http://forums.cpanel.net/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=4

I hope some of that made sense
Thanks for your help in advance

I recommend letting our technical analysts take a look at your server by submitting a support ticket.

Typically the port 2082/2086 issues are caused by installing a firewall such as SELinux that blocks connections to these ports by default. However, our technical analysts will be able to perform a more definitive analysis of your server.
