However, where "physically" will the deny take the IP addresses being denied to on the server?
Say some path on the server or is the connection just dropped?

However, where "physically" will the deny take the IP addresses being denied to on the server?
Say some path on the server or is the connection just dropped?
basically it will just drop the connection, for http, you will be seeing it logs on the log files.

So there will not be seeing any server generated message, I assumed?
