Issue on clean install for VPS

Hi All,

I'm building a new VPS for a client. I've installed Cpanel a thousand times and never had this issue.

I ran the instal and when I try to run easyapache, I get this:

So I read through some forum posts and found that I needed to run this:
/scripts/perlinstaller Acme::Spork

But now I get this error:

Is it a problem with mirror? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, it looks like the perl modules are missing. Install perl once again using the following steps:

cd /usr/local/src
wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/perl588installer.tar.gz
tar zxvf perl588installer.tar.gz
cd perl588installer
./install
/scripts/checkperlmodules
/scripts/upcp –force

Once done, install cPanel again. If the problem persists, make sure you are using the cPanel supported OS and re-install the server if you do.
