Java/Tomcat Issue

Hello,

We have a server running cPanel 11.24.4-R34599 with Apache 1.3 and the Tomcat module installed via Easy Apache.

Once upon a time, Tomcat and everything was working fine, however, now, something is not right.


When we visit http://www.site.com. or http://site.com the index.jsp page loads fine, however, any of the application links from the index page do not work and show a 404 issue

However, if we load:

http://www.site.com:8080 or http://site.com:8080 the entire site works fine, including the application links.


We are not sure what is changed or why this is occurring, but obviously we need to correct the redirect from 8080 to 80 or something of the sort.

This is an issue we've never seen before with the servers we've provisioned with Tomcat, so I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Please try restarting your tomcat manager !!

We have already issued the command

/scripts/restartsrv_tomcat

However this has not resolved the issue.

Any other ideas?

Hi,

I did cam across this issue once in my life and if I am not wrong the cause was that tomcat was not link with Apache so when you browse the domain name http://site.com it did not worked so I linked 8080 with Apache and that fixed this issue.
