Any idea why a javascript drop down menu will work on another Linux (Plesk) server and not on my cPanel server?

Isn't JavaScript mainly client side for parsing and not server based?

Yes it is. I have tested the subject sites on different servers. It will not work on the cPanel servers, but does work on all others.

Are you even sure it's JavaScript?
Javascript works fine on my Cpanel servers.. Weird.
Does the JavaScript script use some special stuff..

Javascript has nothing to do with the server it is hosted on. Unless of course apache's config is whacked.
Javascript totally depends on the browser you are using - not server.

Perhaps you can explain then why using the same browsers and different servers, the script will run on other servers and not on my cPanel server. By the way other Javascripts run just fine on the cPanel server. Is it a java version difference perhaps.Originally posted by pirania1

Java and javascript are two different things.
Why it's not working?
Dozens of reasons. Misconfigured apache, script that is funked up. And final reason: user. You may misconfigured the script, or mislocated it.
Trust me - nothing to do with server.
