JDK based payment gateway set up
I am trying to help a client meet technical requirements for a payment gateway service. Here is the list provided by the gateway provider:
1. Operating System: Linux* 2. Web/Application Server: Any Web/Application Server that supports PHP 3. The server should have a Public IP(LIVE) 4. Java Development Kit version 1.4.2 or newer 5. PHP-Java bridge setup 6. Port 80 & 443 must be enabled for Payment Gateway transactions I have the following questions about items 4 and 5 on the list:
Thanks in advance. |

As for installing JDK without Tomcat, you can use the Install a RPM feature in WHM, but that will install JDK for the server. It's not possible to install JDK just for a single user, that'd be like installing PHP for a single user.
