try rebuilding apache manually
/scripts/easyapache
I do know however that a few people have had problems with that installation(version) of cpanel
well rebuilding apache didnt help any, i can access cpanel via port 2082 or 2083, but im not going to tell hundreds of people who have been using /cpanel to start using a port, so is there anyway to still use the /cpanel redirect?
You'll notice that the redirect.cgi is now missing. cd /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys
no redirect.cgi
The redirect.cgi is what is used to access cpanel and webmail, you will need to get a copy from another server.

would the redirect.cgi from usr/local/cpanel/base work for this?
No harm in trying it. They are a little bit different in size but seem to react the same.

well, that didn't work.
Did you ensure that the rights and owner were correct?
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 760 Jul 3 16:13 redirect.cgi*

possible to downgrade to, say, the current version and have these issues disapear?
yes/no/maybe so?
you should be able to change your Update Preferences in the WHM to which ever build you want to run, then after you update your preferences, then run the /scripts/upcp again.Originally posted by spsmcc
