Just wont configure DNS issues

I have installed cpanel. on fedora core2

I have it working except I have added a
domain. Added nameservers clicked add ip.
Clicked add a record.
A record is there in the dns but now.
If i try to ping the dns address
Nothing shows up its like the dns server is not working.


I keep getting this error.
=66.246.218.148 Bind reloading on clients using rndc zone: [skilledweb.info] Error reloading bind on clients: rndc: connect failed: connection refused Add Complete

Ive ran the fixes that I found on the boards for that but still get the error.

Please help.

I followed the instructions.. it mangled my config files, and then i ran the /scripts/fixndc, and the other scripts suggested in other posts, and now rndc works!

In the end it was several issues. First a site would take like a minute to load. Then once the page loaded you could move around very fast. Some images would not show up.

Webhost manager was fine on https that worked great
Anything on http slow to load.

I submitted a ticket and within minutes they were working on my server
and fixed several issues. Once they moved my max connections upto 450
it worked great and have had no other problems.

I have to hand it to support, I spent hours searching the forums for help
running the fixes and such, and they had it fixed fast!
