KEEPALIVE = ON or OFF?

Can someone tell me adventages and disadventages to setting KEEPALIVE in httpd.conf to OFF ? (I'm running latest RELASE version of cPanel/WHM).

If you have a lot of Forums it is better to keep it off.

Yes, most of sites on my servers uses phpBB and MySQL of course, so are there any restrictions when I realy should not set it to off or may it couse any problems with operating my servers/sites it the future?

There are many threads out there on this. A lot of people like to keep it ON, but if you read the phpBB tuning guides it will tell you to keep it OFF. KeepAlive on sites that run forums and such will really slow down a server.

You should be able to limit concurrent persistent connections if you decide to leave them on.
