    Default Kernel update using rpm

    Kernel update using rpm

    I am using redhat 9, i would like to update the kernel to the stable release using rpm.
    Where can i find the rpm for redhat? Is 2.6 a good choice for production server?

    I am just a newbie on linux.What i need to do with the rpm for update?

    You should hire someone to do it for you or do it a bunch of times on a home server. You will need to use yum to update the kernel on 9 through the fedora legacy program. There are lots of HowTos over at Ev1servers.net forums.
