Default killing mail account wont delete all folders

When we delete a mail account from control panel, the /home/user/mail/domain/account folder is not removed and this takes up space from user quota. Creating a number of accounts and removing at times makes the disk quota exceed

Why isn't cpanel removing both mail/accont and mail/domain/account folders ?

    Dear Jemshad,

Cpanel keeps those folders as backup for the deleted mail accounts. You might need them later. So they are not deleted. You have to delete those folders manually.

yea.. I know that those folders are not deleted. But this takes up a lot of useless space for large users who often add lot of mail accounts and kill them later.

Killing one mail account means - we dont need them any more.. so the files and folders may be completely removed. users without ssh cant delete this ( afterall, why should the users be bothered about these and all ) as far as the users are concerned, their control panel should do this for them. Otherwise, they will have to contact support each time they delete a mail account - this is absolutely bad idea. !

When our users delete their email accounts they are deleting them for a reason and thats because they dont want them anymore therefore it only seems right that those folders should be removed.

When you delete a site in Cpanel it deletes it for good and not for the reason of keeping it around incase the user wants to recreate the site later.
