KSCAND Problem

My server is having high loads like 15 once in a while becuase of kscand which is a virtual memory manager.. i am having no spikes in memory and no swap is being used so i don't know why it goes so high.

It runs for like every and never stops running. I have tried two kernels...2.4.20-18.7smp and 2.4.20-13.7smp. They both seem to have the problem. If someone can respond with a kernel(RPM would be nice) or a patch without the problem.

Kscand / RPM kernels & high load seem to been synonymous with each other. I would suggest that you have someone compile a kernel from source for you; this will most likely correct the issue for you.
