.LCK files??

hi, wondering what are these files that cpanel is creating when you transfer an account? i see some system files duplicated with the .lck extension on them:

.contactemail
.contactemail.LCK

.mailboxlist
.mailboxlist.LCK

.spamkey
.spamkey.LCK

im not sure now if is happening when the account is transfered or just when is suspended/unsuspended.

Any idea?
