Default Limit accounts to 10mbps on a 100mbps server.

My server has a 100mbps uplink connection.

In order to prevent abuse, I'd like to limit the uplink to 10mbps on a per-account basis.

That is john owns example.com, I want to make sure the total bandwidth usage of example.com is never higher than 10mbps.

How can I go about doing this?

There is no method within cPanel/WHM to limit port speed on a per cPanel account basis. Your best bet is to limit their total monthly bandwidth in the WHM.

Right, you cannot limit the connection speed per account basis instead limit the bandwidth allocation for such domains.
