Limit users CPU use.

Maybe this should be a feature request?

Anyway, I've seen a box here and a box there go down more times than not because of a user running a perl script, or something hogging up the CPU.

Is there a way, to limit CPU use for any one person / service to 10 or 20%?

That is to say, john doe & his php can not crash the box because of a typo.

say if i have 100 people on at 1 time, if i wanted 50, i just limit my account to allow 50 users at a time, that would be great too.

There is some sort of 'ulimit' deal going on with apache but I'm talking in general. Let anyone use up to 20% but no more.

prm works for me. It has helped me to keep a few clients in line.
