    Default List Accounts Slow

Anytime I do anything that lists accounts -- such as clicking "List Accounts" from WHM -- it takes about 10-12 seconds to load the page. How can I troubleshoot this issue? This only started happening when we upgraded to cPanel 11, and there are less than 150 domains on this server.

Its checking the quotas now everytime you list the accounts...You will see the repquota command in top, it is using a large amount of cpu. I have a server with only 15 domains and it takes about 30 seconds for them to list.

Try to increase the RAM under WHM > Tweak Serrings for :

"The maximum memory a cPanel process can use before it is killed off (in megabytes)."

    It might help.

My CPU usage isn't going up during this time very much. Further, if the process is being killed due to RAM, then it would die wouldn't it?

This is still a major pain. I'm on a very fast server we have in our rack -- Dual Xeon 2.8, 2GB RAM and Ulta320 SCSI drives in RAID-1. It shouldn't take this long at all to list <100 accounts. What is up with this?

    Running FreeBSD...

Seeing it on 5.3 and 5.4. Looks like a memory leak from the repquota command, as it swaps and then the memory goes to wired. Comes back to normal in about 30 minutes.

Same problem here. Everything works fine except "List accounts" page.

    Any update?

cPanel 11.x EDGE has quite a few optimizations in there area. RELEASE & CURRENT do as well (just not to the same extent).

At this point 10.x is only getting critical bug fixes and security updates.

I have upgraded the cPanel to WHM 11.1.0 cPanel 11.4.19-R14378. Now, list account page loads fine.

    Thanks,

Excellent, once the 11.6 changes make it to RELEASE it should be even faster.
