Localdomains

Every now and then the contents of file /etc/localdomains is changed automagicly back to some earlier state.

When that happens exim refuses relaying for the domainnames that have been deleted. I have to reenter them to get things to work. How can I avoid this?

Well, I am having the same thing happen to me.... The only thing that i have come up with, just to bandaid fix it... is to copy the localdomains file and then run a cron on a bath rutine to copy the backup over the old one on a daly basis.

any domain you do not want in /etc/localdomains add to /etc/remotedomains and remove from /etc/localdomains
