Log file

Hello Everybody
I'm administering a server .. unix one I mean .. and I want to know how to track every thing happening on the server .. I mean when was the last update ?? when was the last restart to this server .. and so on .. please any one has any idea .. how to do this let me know . thanx

Logs logs and more logs... Ill list a few.
of course you can poke around and find others such as domlogs, boot.log etc.....

/var/log/messages
/var/log/exim_mainlog
/var/log/maillog

/usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

In fact, explore everything in /var/log... should keep anyone busy for a while!

cPanel logs:

/var/cpanel/updatelogs/*
/usr/local/cpanel/logs/*

Other cPanel information is written to logs in /var/log/* (cpwrap, cppop, etc)
