Logging into webmail without entire email address...

Was wondering if there is a way to allow clients to login to webmail with just their username/pass and have the domain be appended automatically instead? Perhaps the webmail could stay in their own domain?

What happens now:
1. user goes to http://theirdomain.com/webmail
2. user logs in with user@theirdomain.com and password
3. user gets redirected to https://mycpaneldomain.com:2096 where they can choose sqmail or Horde.

(I assume number 3 is happening because I have chosen to automatically redirect all requests to an SSL host.)

What would be nice ie more professional:
1. user goes to http://theirdomain.com/webmail
2. user logs in with username and password
3. user gets redirected to http://theirdomain.com:2096 (or https) where they can choose sqmail or Horde.

On a cPanel system, where you have user@domain.com, there is no email username of just 'user' (with the exception of the account username which can be used for email). That locks you into using the whole email address.

As for points 3, you are correct about the SSL / mydomain.com issue. If you don't require or redirect to SSL, then their domain will still show in the URL.
