That is handled by your browser, WHM uses HTTP-Authentication, meaning your browser actually resubmits your login and password with each request.

So in other words I need to quit out of my browser in order to log out? Am I missing something? Is this not basic functionality that should be built in? Is there really no way to log out of the system other than by quitting your browser?

What I'm saying is that &logging you out& is not something that CAN be handled by WHM.

WHM does not have &sessions&. Your username and password are sent by your browser with every request.

What you want is your browser to stop sending the login information, and the HTTP protocol has no method that would allow WHM to make your browser do that.

This is not a fault in WHM, and is beyond WHM's control. This is something that browsers should support (but don't).

Yep, so if you close your window, you should be logged out. It would be best to clear your cache though just to make sure if you have &snoopers& on your computer.

    from my experience....

Closing the browser DOES NOT log you out of WHM.

Yes. If you are on a public computer, I would clear cache.

I can't think of ever having the need to login to WHM via a public computer, so it's not a big deal for me... I'm just expressing my experience
