    Default Logwatch Not Updating to Version 7.3.6

    Current Setup:

    cPanel 11.25.0-C42399 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9
    CENTOS 5.4 i686 standard on server
    Current Version of Logwatch Installed:

    root@server [~]# logwatch -v
    Logwatch 7.3 (released 03/24/06)
    When I tried yum update Logwatch to the latest version 7.3.6 it doesn't work.

    root@server [~]# yum update logwatch
    Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
    Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
    * addons: mirrors.gigenet.com
    * base: mirror.ubiquityservers.com
    * extras: mirror.nexcess.net

    Here is my current yum.conf

    What am I doing wrong?

    root@server [~]# logwatch -v

    root@server [~]# yum update logwatch

    Excluding Packages in global exclude list
    Finished
    Setting up Update Process
    No Packages marked for Update

    That's the last version they have provided

    None of the downloads for beta, stable or older builds work on that site, but there are mirrors listed.

    Try this one instead:

    rpm -Uvh http://www.stellarcore.net/logwatch/pub/redhat/RPMS/noarch/logwatch-7.3.6-1.noarch.rpm

    The Latest Logwatch Stable Release is Logwatch (7.3.6) from May 19, 2007.

    The latest version that Yum will update to is Logwatch (7.3) from Mar 22, 2006.
